Fado Irish Pub

The Streets of Buckhead is a $1.5 billion upscale mixed-use development located in the affluent Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, the Streets of Buckhead is under development, and being developed by Ben Carter Properties, LLC. Originally scheduled for a grand opening of November 2009, work slowdowns have pushed the projected opening back to fall 2011. The Streets of Buckhead is dubbed as "Atlanta's new upscale shopping", as it will feature 600,000 square feet (56,000 m ² ) of exclusive shopping, 14 fine dining restaurants, two 5-star hotels, 350 multi-million dollar condominiums and class-A office space. It aims to be the most exclusive shopping mall in the Southern United States. Many of the tenants are new to the Atlanta market, as well as the state. These stores include John Lobb, Brioni, Etro, Dolce & Gabbana, and Loro Piana.

History

The project is a redevelopment of the former “Buckhead Village” area of Atlanta’s affluent Buckhead neighborhood. The Streets of Buckhead will occupy an area defined by Peachtree, East Paces Ferry, and Pharr Roads, and North Fulton Drive. Demolition of existing structures began in August 2007, signaling the commencement of the area’s redevelopment. Along with neighboring Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, the Streets of Buckhead aims to become one of the biggest shopping meccas in the world.
