Fathead is the leading brand in sports and entertainment graphic products. Fathead is best known for REAL.BIG.Fathead, the officially licensed life-size, hi-def wall graphics of professional athletes, animated heroes, entertainment characters, team helmets, logos, vehicles and stadium murals. The graphics are made of a high quality adhesive vinyl that sticks to walls and can be moved as many times as needed without damaging the product or wall. Fathead is constantly expanding the line, which along with the REAL.BIG. products, now includes Fathead Tradeables, a smaller, assorted multi-packed version of the main product; Fathead Skins, graphic coverings for PDA and gaming devices; Furniture for Fans, leather recliners and game rockers that feature the XZipit custom panel system allowing fans to customize their recliner with their favorite teams logo; and Fathead Customs, which allows customers to the ability to create almost any image and size.
History
In 2004, the NFL and NFLPA were presented with a business plan for an innovative idea from a company called Fathead which quickly became the league’s sole producer of life-size adhesive wall graphics. The fledgling company’s success continued with their real big ideas as they negotiated agreements with the NBA, NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs, Roush Fenway Racing, Penske Racing, Robert Yates and approximately 11 collegiate licenses. Fathead Inc was officially founded in 2005. In 2006, A group of investors, led by Dan Gilbert (businessman), founder of Quicken Loans, purchased Fathead and added it to his family of companies. Fathead was brought to Gilbert’s attention by the company’s president Todd Lunsford, then Quicken Loans’ Chief Marketing Officer, after his son saw a commercial and thought it was cool. Lunsford purchased a Tom Brady Fathead and the rest is history. Today, Fathead is one of the major threads in a large family of innovative properties in the sports and entertainment market, including the National Basketball Association's Cleveland Cavaliers, the American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters, Quicken Loans Arena, Xenith, Xeko and Veritix.

Fathead maintains license agreements with the NFL and PLAYERS, INC., Disney Consumer Products, Inc., MLB and MLBPA, NASCAR, NBA Entertainment, MLS, NHL and NHLPA, Nickelodeon Consumer Products, Warner Brothers, Collegiate Licensing Company, Licensing Resource Group, Inc., Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Lucasfilm, Ltd., Marvel Characters, Inc., Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc., Muhammad Ali Enterprises, LLC, Bruce Lee Enterprises, Harley Davidson USA, International Soccer, Action Sports and WMG. Fathead has recently released a new line of home décor products including general sports graphics and general graphics for children.

Real.Big. Fatheads
Real.Big. Fatheads are life size, hi-definition, precision-cut wall graphics made of hyper durable vinyl that is fade resistant and easy to put up with a special adhesive backing that allows it to be moved from wall to wall with no damage. The products include logos, helmets, players, characters, vehicles and murals. Players are approximately 80" tall by 50" wide, helmets are approximately 54" high by 52" wide, murals are approximately 48” tall by 96” wide and cars are 39" high by 91" wide. For the sports fans there are NFL, NCAA, MLB, NASCAR, NBA, NHL, MLS, European Soccer, Action Sports, Boxing and Tennis images and even the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. There are entertainment products such as Disney which includes: Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers, The World of Cars, High School Musical, and Princesses. Also, there is Star Wars, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, and The Thing. There are USA products such as Military Insignia, featuring Marines, Air Force, Army, Navy and Military Vehicles, The American Flag, Barack Obama, Made in Detroit and Harley-Davidson. Fathead has recently added general graphics such as assorted sports, cartoon animals and outer space. They also make Xeko animals, based on a trading card game containing endangered animals. Fathead has over 600 images and the number continues to grow as Fathead strives to satisfy all age groups and passions.
Fathead Jr.
Fathead Jr.™ brings the passion and excitement of the Real.Big. Fathead® experience to a fun 2”X3” size to show off a person’s fandom. Like the original Fathead Real.Big, Fathead Jr.™ is also made of premium vinyl and adhere by a patented low stick adhesive, that doesn’t damage surfaces and are very mobile. Fathead Jr.™ are available in NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA.
Fathead Tradeables
Fathead Tradeables are 5" x 7" action-oriented authentic images of fan-favorite players, team helmets and logo’s. Choices include: MLB, NFL, NFL Rookies and NHL, featuring over a 150 images each. There is also Hannah Montana Tradeables set and an exclusive NBA Cleveland Cavaliers line featuring the entire roster including coaches. All are made from the same materials as the REAL.BIG.® They can be applied to practically any clean surface and be easily moved without causing damage. They are packaged in assorted sets of five. The Tradeables invite fans to “Collect ‘em, Trade ‘em, Stick ‘em”. Each pack features a code to enter at tradeables.com to unlock games and chances to win prizes.
Custom Fatheads
Fathead introduced the much anticipated Custom line of Fatheads in early 2009, allowing customers to load their personal digital images to fathead.com and create a personalized wall graphic of anything they would like. Fathead offers the custom line in two different sizes, the “Real.Big.” size which covers 4’ x 6’5’’, the “Big.” size, spanning 3’2.5’’x 4’3’’, and the “Lil Big” measuring at 2” X 3’2.5” when placed on a wall. The newest Real.Big line addition to the Fathead lineup became an instant hit with consumers. Fathead also offers custom Laptop Skins that come in a personalized 15”/16” or 17”. The Custom Fatheads are made of the same durable vinyl as traditional Fatheads and require customers to use an 8 or more megapixel camera that is set to 200 dpi or ppi.
Fathead Murals
Fathead Murals are 8’ wide x 4’ tall, high definition shots of stadiums. Currently, Fathead features three college football stadiums: Beaver Stadium, home to Penn State University, Ohio Stadium, home of The Ohio State University, and Notre Dame Stadium, home of Notre Dame University.
Fathead Skins
Fathead Skins cover 15”/16” and 17” laptops. They are constructed of hyper-durable vinyl that is easily peeled and applied to your devices with a non-toxic adhesive. They are made of flexible, washable, and thick vinyl to protect laptops from scratches and dings. They feature high-quality images for a three-dimensional depth, vivid, hi-def appeal and they won’t fade. Just like all Fathead, On the back, there is the same low-tack adhesive that’s on the back of the Real.Big. wall graphics. They are available for MLB, NBA and NCAA and Custom images.
Furniture for fans
Fathead makes a further move into the home décor area with high quality sports themed recliners and related products for homes, offices and stadiums. Fathead presents the original team themed DreamSeat and the new XZipit Recliner line, which features a patented interchangeable logo panel system. The DreamSeat recliners are made of top grain leather and sport the colors and of logo of a fan’s favorite team. The chairs are officially licensed for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and College.
Private label
Recently, Fathead has moved into the corporate sector, providing products for companies. They have created non-licensed, print on demand products for multiple corporations, including Bank of America. Fathead has expressed interest in developing and extending their brand through collaboration with potential new partners, aiming to diversify their business strategy.
Affiliate program
The Fathead affiliate program allows publishers to receive commission for featuring product advertisements on their website for a three month period. They post Fathead banners, text links and coupons. Each time a customer uses those advertisements to make a purchase; the publisher receives a percentage of that sale. The program highlights high conversion rates, a parasite free program and the ability to earn up to 18% on every sale.
