This is a list of the articles to be checked and revised, per discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/Archive 23#Implementing NRHP infoboxes merger

List is of articles linking to template:infobox nrhp2. It is a raw text list of article names. Chunks are suitable for bringing into AWB's Make List, by selection there of "Text file" dropdown option.

Note about list prep: To prepare the list, i can't just use AWB's feature for making a list by "What links here", because that appears only to work for target articles in mainspace. In AWB, I can make a list linking to, say, Harris House, but not to template:infobox nrhp2. The alternative I used was to cut and paste directly from "What links here", but that comes in with extra formatting, which i edited out in Microsoft Word.

Q&A can happen here...

  • Bug with |nrhp_type2= nhp in San Juan Island National Historical Park. Inserted "U.S National Historical Park" twice. -- D.B. talk contribs 19:09, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
  • AWB kept skipping through my list, only being willing to stop occasionally, as if i was holding down the "Ignore" button. what's up with that. it's a lot more tedious looking up each article separately. doncram (talk) 20:39, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Do we change national monuments? PLease see African Burial Ground National Monument. I tired changing "nmon = yes" to "nrhp_type = nmon" and that did not work. Ruhrfisch ><> 21:21, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Florida NHL-FL's. There is use of "nrhp_type = nhl-fl" in a number of Florida articles, presumably those covered in List of NHLs in FL. I have just been leaving those unchanged. But, I notice that the nrhp_type is not described in the current NRHP2 documentation. What does this type accomplish, is it an allowable option (and if so it shouldn't it be described in the documentation)? doncram (talk) 11:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
  • Great, all seem done. I further let AWB run through all of them again, searching on "established_", by using the Skip feature set on "doesn't contain" that string. This turned up no remaining ones within NRHP2 infoboxes (though i note the string is used in a different infobox used also in a couple of these articles). I could further search on other invalid strings, but i think it looks pretty clean now to me, have no reason to worry. I think it's done. Thanks! doncram (talk) 07:44, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
  • New small issue. It seems to me that one should be able to put in nrhp as an argument for nrhp_type =, if only to clarify to some other editors that the place is an nrhp and not something else, and that there is no need for any further entry there. However, adding nrhp_type = nrhp currently makes appear doubled-up banners for "National Register of Historic Places". This is seen at Moloka'i Light, a stub article that i just created. Can the coding and documentation be changed to explicitly allow for nrhp_type=nrhp? doncram (talk) 23:38, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
