Randall Bell (born 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio) is the author of Strategy 360: 10 Steps for Creating a Complete Game Plan for Business & Life and the textbook Real Estate Damages .
Bell is an applied economist who specializes in real estate damages, disaster research and strategic planning. He consulted on Hurricane Katrina, the Bikini Atoll nuclear test sites and the World Trade Center. He also consulted on many high-profile cases, such as the OJ Simpson-related Nicole Brown Simpson crime scene, JonBenét Ramsey, and the Heaven's Gate (religious group) Mass-Suicide Mansion.
Bell is the author of The Bell Chart , a resource that categorizes the 10 types of detrimental conditions and their corresponding economic damages. Bell is also credited with developing ‘'Strategy 360'’, a strategic planning framework. He is married, has four children, and resides in Southern California.
Career
Bell earned his MBA from UCLA in 1991. He developed early valuation methodologies that are utilized widely today, including The Bell Chart and the Detrimental Conditions Matrix .
In 1997, Bell accepted an appointment to be the national director of the Real Estate Damages practice of Price Waterhouse, where he continued until the firm merged to become PricewaterhouseCoopers. He left the firm in 1999 and, with two partners, co-founded Bell Anderson & Sanders LLC.
Now as a leading economist, crisis consultant, and strategist, Bell’s first major assignments started in the early 1990s with the Los Angeles Riots, the Malibu Fire Storms, and the Northridge Earthquake. He also consulted on the Via Estoril Landslides in Laguna Niguel, California involving a 125-foot landslide.
Bell has consulted on various crime scenes and its human tragedy, including the JonBenét Ramsey case, the Heaven's Gate (religious group) Mansion in Rancho Santa Fe and the Nicole Brown Simpson Condominium. He has also extensively researched the Charles Manson Tate murders, the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre, the Luby's Restaurant massacre in Texas, the Battle of the Alamo, and Columbine. As an international consultant , Bell has been brought in to consult on Hurricane Katrina, as well as the 2005 levee failures in Greater New Orleans, the Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Island, the September 11 attacks of the World Trade Center site and the United Airlines Flight 93 Crash Site in Pennsylvania. He also conducted research at the Chernobyl disaster and Hiroshima, where only the highest governmental clearance allows outside investigators.

Bell’s work was first noted by the media in 1996, when he consulted for Lou Brown, the father of Nicole Brown Simpson. Nicole was the ex-wife of O J Simpson and was found murdered at her home. Bell’s career has since been profiled as a cover story for Entertainment Tonight. Bell has also appeared on CNN several times, as well as Court TV, Extra (TV series), ABC News, The O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC, 20/20, and the CBS and NBC television networks. His career has also been profiled in the print media, including People (magazine), The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, The Chicago Tribune, and the The New York Times.

Bell is the author of Real Estate Damages . The book was later used to update federal regulations involving real estate. Bell also authored four pocket-reference books, Business Owners Manual , Property Owners Manual , Quick-Ref Owners Manual , and Home Owners Manual . Later, with New York Times bestselling author Donald T. Phillips, Bell co-authored Disasters: Wasted Lives, Valuable Lessons . Bell also authored Strategy 360: 10 Steps for Creating a Complete Game Plan for Business & Life .
