Wholesale Garden Supply

Mills Fleet Farm is a retail chain of 31 large stores in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. The stores sell hunting and fishing equipment, appliances, housewares, automotive goods, apparel, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, paint, pet supplies, sporting goods, tools, and farm supplies.

History

The company was founded in 1955 by the Mills family (Stewart C. Mills, Sr., Stewart C. Mills, Jr, and Henry C. Mills II), owners of Mills Automotive Group dealerships in Brainerd and Willmar, MN, as Fleet Wholesale Supply in Marshfield, Wisconsin. It took its present name in 1960.

The company is based in Brainerd, Minnesota. The Mills family still owns the business, with the corporate office located in the original Mills dealership building purchased in 1922.
