The Bobby Bones Show is a morning radio show broadcast in Austin, Texas on 96.7 KISS FM and syndicated in Wichita, Kansas, Amarillo, Texas, and Lubbock, Texas. Bobby Bones is accompanied by co-hosts Lunchbox and Amy, Carlos, and Alayna. Jay Shannon is program director. According to Clear Channel Radio, the show is the number one listened to morning show among listeners aged 12–17 and 18-34. The morning show runs on weekdays from 6 AM to 10 AM.

Bobby Bones (Host)
Bobby Bones was born in Mountain Pine, Arkansas on April 2 , 1980 , but currently lives in Austin, Texas.
Bobby's first job in radio was at the age of 18 on the college radio station KSWH 91.1 The Switch at Henderson State University. With only a week of experience at The Switch, Bobby landed a job in Hot Springs, Arkansas with KLAZ 105.9 as part-time air talent. During his four-year stint at KLAZ, Bobby was responsible for turning ten college students into professional broadcasters (most of whom worked at KLAZ with Bobby's recommendation).
After graduating from Henderson State University in the summer of 2002, Bobby was hired by a Little Rock station, KQAR - Q100, to host The Bobby Bones Night Show . Bobby garnered tons of national attention on his show in Little Rock with a stunt where Bobby snuck into a competing station's building to take over their radio waves for over 15 minutes. The act generated buzz nation-wide and also landed Bobby in legal trouble. Even with legal issues on his resume, Bobby was promoted within the company and was offered syndication for The Bobby Bones Night Show in Austin, San Antonio, New Orleans, Meridian and Oklahoma City. This market gave Bobby a 3-million listener market nightly.
In July 2003, Bobby was offered to move his show to the west coast for an even larger radio market. Through contract negotiations, Bobby remained in Austin where he now hosts the Bobby Bones Show on 96.7 KISS FM, syndicated on Channel 963 in Wichita, KS. On April 25, 2008, Bobby announced to MySpace fans via his blog that the show's contract had been extended by four years.
Bobby's first TV gig was a short stint on the Bozo Show at age 6. Bobby has been featured on Ryan Seacrest's show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest , on E! for an interview done with Matthew McConaughey. Bobby recently expanded his on-screen career playing an emcee, Gordy, at an event in the movie Bandslam , starring Alyson Michalka, Gaelan Connell, Scott Porter and Vanessa Hudgens, slated for release August 14, 2009.
Bobby's dog Dusty is named after the program director (Dusty Black) who put the show back on the air after the show was taken off-air due to a prank from a regular bit called "Lunchwalking." The prank went wrong when Lunchbox went into a gas station to buy a pack of gum with a ski mask on. They were put back on the air two weeks after the incident.
In October 2008, Bobby ran a rumor on the internet that he was dating Vanessa Hudgens. Bobby told his listeners to perform a Google search of "Bobby Bones Vanessa Hudgens" to see if he could get a rumor started. After seeing a steady increase in ratings in the Google Trends, he told his listeners to search "Bobby Bones Vanessa Hudgens vacation photos" and "Bobby Bones Vanessa Hudgens on the beach". On October 14, 2008, it was the number two search topic on Google.
Lunchbox (Co-host)
Lunchbox's (shortened on air to LB) hometown is Austin, Texas. He grew up in Austin, became a member of the LWC (Little White Criminals) at an early age. Here, he obtained the alias "Jason Gibble" - known among the LWC and given to the police to keep from giving the police his real name. "Jason" is derived from a kid named Jason who lived down the street from him and the completely original "Gibble." Lunchbox is a regular at numerous Austin bars on 6th Street. LB was an intern for two country stations in Austin, Texas -- KASE-FM (KASE 101) and KVET-FM.
Amy (Co-host)
Amy's hometown is Austin, Texas. She has a husband who is a member of the Air Force. In the summer of 2008, Amy moved to North Carolina to live on base with him. Amy has her own private studio in the attic of her house, and she remains a member of the cast via the internet.
Carlos (Producer and Co-host)
Carlos is the producer of the show. Carlos started as an intern on the show while he was in college. Carlos attended Bowie High School in Austin, Texas, and went on to Schreiner University to play baseball. Carlos is the only Hispanic person on the show.

What Year Was It
"What Year Was It" is played every morning at 7:00am. They choose a caller to play the game, and then Bobby will play clips of a movie, a song, a pop culture reference, and a national news story that all came out or occured in the same year. The cast member that gets it right gets a point. If one of the cast members is sure they have the correct answer, they can "go 100 percent" and if they get it right, they will get two points, but if they get it wrong they lose a point. Amy is known to be very good at this game and has been in the lead since they started playing it.
Name That Tune
"Name That Tune" (or N-T-T) is a game modeled after the original Name That Tune that is played on air between the co-hosts to properly name the artist and song that Bobby plays. The co-hosts use their names as their buzzer and can be awarded one point for naming the artist, one point for naming the title of the song, and three points for naming the theme (when available).

The Name Game
"The Name Game" is a game of name association. The cast is given a proper name, and each cast member must name a person commonly known in pop culture with the same proper name. For example, if the name given is "John", names given could be John Mayer, John Madden, John Lennon, or John the Baptist. If a cast member cannot name a person with the same proper name in the alotted time, he or she is considered "out". A cast member receives 0 points for being eliminated first, 1 point for being eliminated second, 2 points for being eliminated third, and 3 points for being eliminated last. The cast member with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Password
"Password" is a game modeled after the original Password that is played on air between the co-hosts. The game consists of two teams composed of Bobby and Amy placed against Lunchbox and Carlos. The game is based on word association. One team member is given a word, and they must give the first word that comes to their head. Their teammate is invited back into the room and is given the same list of words. The object of the game is for the second teammate to match the word given by the first teammate. The team with the most word matches wins the game.

Scores were reset on November 4 , 2008 , in an effort to determine a "Password" champion. On March 30 , 2009 , Amy and Bobby claimed their 10th Password win to become the Password grand champions for the first time in Bobby Bones Show history.
